Which apps share my Pro subscription and AI Credits?+
Speaker Notes adds speaker notes to an existing PowerPoint. Presentation creates a new deck. Both apps share your Pro subscription and AI Credits balance. You can view your balance in either workspace; Add credits opens this Pricing page.
How many AI Credits does a workflow use?+
Luna uses 1 credit per generated slide. Terra uses 3 and requires Pro. Creating 20 slides with Luna uses 20 credits; generating notes for those 20 slides uses another 20, for 40 credits total. Using Terra for both requests uses 120 credits. Slides whose existing notes are preserved are not newly generated.
Does chat use AI Credits?+
Chat is included and does not deduct AI Credits. Conversation length and request limits still apply. AI Credits pay for slide creation and speaker-note generation at the selected model rate.
How do monthly and top-up credits work?+
Pro includes 1000 monthly AI Credits. The allowance resets when a new paid billing cycle begins; unused monthly credits do not roll over. Monthly credits are used first. Top-up credits are stored separately, survive monthly resets and are used after the monthly balance is exhausted. Buying and using top-ups requires an active Pro subscription.
Are credits the same as AI usage tokens?+
No. AI Credits pay for generated slides at the selected model rate. Model usage tokens and processing-cost estimates are separate from your available credit balance.
What price does Presentation show before generating?+
Presentation shows the maximum slide count and credits before you confirm. The cover counts as one slide. Only the final exported slide count is charged. Unused reserved credits are released after export, subject to the original monthly credit expiry.
Can I start from a document?+
Upload a PDF with selectable text, Word (.docx), TXT, or Markdown (.md), up to 10 MB. Review the extracted text before generating. Speaker Notes can use a document as additional reference alongside your PowerPoint. Run OCR on scanned PDFs before uploading.
Will I need to upload my deck again after upgrading?+
No. When you upgrade from a preview in the same workflow, NotePreso keeps that job. Once Pro is confirmed, use Continue to process its remaining slides.
Why can the checkout total differ from the listed price?+
Prices are shown in USD. Applicable tax depends on your billing location. Paddle shows the tax and final total before you pay. Discounts or currency selection may also change the final amount. Review Paddle’s total before confirming payment.
How do renewals and cancellation work?+
Pro renews monthly until cancelled. Use the subscription management link in your Paddle receipt or Paddle support to cancel future renewals. Cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier payment. Top-ups are one-time purchases and do not start or extend a subscription.
